But the thing is, they find it difficult to explore and grow it into a business. Most of them have less knowledge about business or how to build a startup business. Some of them find it difficult to get resources they need, or even where to find them.

These are the problems that KIBAR and Kominfo trying to solve. Together, they create a movement for Indonesian startups called “Gerakan Nasional 1000 Startup Digital”. This movement will start with 10 cities: Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Malang, Medan, Bali, Makassar, and Pontianak. In these 10 cities will be the center of innovation as a gathering point for the technological, creative and cultural communities, while also providing a common workspace for local actors and creators to collaborate to create solutions for the needs of the community, both locally and nationally.

This movement is expected to give birth to a new entrepreneur who will be the beginning to create the future of digital Indonesia and considered as a historic moment in the Indonesian digital industry. And I’m quite proud to be able to be the part of the history itself, as you can check by the mentor list here In addition to mentoring, I also become one of the juries, occasionally.
